An idea for the representation of the EYT with frames from the movies put on top of the lockers in ITP.

Here is the prototyping application (prototype: not so user friendly, not very meaningful), in which you can see 3 person’s eye tracking data while watching the same scene from Rear Window, Alfred Hitchcock.
‘Eyes on You, Tarantino’ gets a little physical on Maya. For Spatial Design class, I used E.Y.T data (my&Lucas’s eye data) to built the wall kind of thing below. I was expecting to have something more visually interesting. But putting this data into maya and just building a wall out of it didn’t bring very interesting output.. Gotta try harder..
The wall below is constructed by lofting two lines which shape the upper and lower zig-zag of the wall. Upper line refers to my eye movements on time axis, and lower line refers to Lucas’s eye on the same movie scene - Hitchcock “Rear Window”

It has very nice sculptural visualizations of interesting massive data. I was definitely thinking of such a sculptural piece as an outcome for E.Y.T. But feels like there is something missing….
Addition: also a link from the same site, a very good piece.
Heyo,
‘Eyes on You, Tarantino’, my latest project, changed its name! It gained a global perspective with removing ‘my’ word. So, Eyes on You, Tarantino!
Here is a video of my first visualization try. Don’t forget that the eye tracking is done only on horizontal level, so (I guess) we are not watching actually the boobs of Grace Kelly, we are looking at her beautiful face, but vertical level doesn’t give a clue about that..

This is what I call a title a title!! This is the first post for my ultimate ITP project #1 serial no.64498302.
My Eyes on You, Tarantino tracks the eye movements of the viewers on various movie scenes, the area viewers are looking at is tracked and the collected data is visualized in processing within spatial use of time-dimensioned movie frames.
Let's go slow, and see what I have done today with that crazy passion and excitement of having a nice idea.
I first built an eye position detection software in processing, currently working only in horizontal axis.
Hello, here is my blog for all the classes I am taking. I will keep one blog for all, since I am considering combining projects for classes, I hope this will be a nice solution. You can check out the class specific posts via 'Categories'.
By the way, am I the oldest minded person in the earth or is blogging something really hard to do??
