Here is my first date with actual six screens. In the videos below, you can see the simple application we come up in 2 hours with Robert Moon. The videos attached side-by-side are moving left/right with the speed defined by the position of the mouse. The outcome looks amazing, and we are going to use this for a train scene; first, the videos move so fast, it looks like a regular train moving, then it slows down and we focus on cars of the train individually. Audio has more volume in the conversation in the car that is in the middle of the screen, but you can also hear the rest at some volume. But big big problems:
- sync problem; MPE couldn’t sync the videos that well.. You can see that two screen (two different machines) are out of sync in the timing of the video.
- memory error; we got these memory errors over and over… I couldn’t find the photo that I shot, but I will post them as soon as possible
