‘Eyes on You, Tarantino’, my latest project, changed its name! It gained a global perspective with removing ‘my’ word. So, Eyes on You, Tarantino!
Here is a video of my first visualization try. Don’t forget that the eye tracking is done only on horizontal level, so (I guess) we are not watching actually the boobs of Grace Kelly, we are looking at her beautiful face, but vertical level doesn’t give a clue about that..
This is what I call a title a title!! This is the first post for my ultimate ITP project #1 serial no.64498302.
My Eyes on You, Tarantino tracks the eye movements of the viewers on various movie scenes, the area viewers are looking at is tracked and the collected data is visualized in processing within spatial use of time-dimensioned movie frames.
Let's go slow, and see what I have done today with that crazy passion and excitement of having a nice idea. I first built an eye position detection software in processing, currently working only in horizontal axis.
Here with this assignment, I found the opportunity to create myself the ultimate cookbook that I ever needed! A pictured one! http://www.msaportfolio.com/itp/cookbook/
Simply, google recipe search next to flickr => find the recipe you need, see what ‘grounded meatloaf’ means! Maybe youtube would help to show me the action too..
But also it relates to the question of Clay; “do a cookbook?”
What is a cookbook anyway? is it supposed to be printed? is it supposed to include a definite number of food? is it supposed to be only food? what about bugs, snakes, etc… So my response to this question was creating something that would be as least specific as the question itself. You have a search page from google, you have search page from flickr, now prepare your meal!! I guess it matches the spirit of the cooking itself: are there any rules?
here is my initial tests on Eclipse, successfully installed on Windows Vistaaaa! But I had a problem while trying to run one of my older processing applications: 'color' primitive was not working, eclipse was giving an error for this. Howdy?? code is below: Continue reading ‘Eclipse - Processing Test’
